Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful whenever I called. The core team kept me well informed without having to chase for updates.
I have dealt with many firms over the years, and this firm has been on another level compared to others. The customer service, knowledge and speedy completion of the sale was much appreciated.
Great service from start to finish. PSR did the conveyancing for us on the purchase of our new home. Quick, easy, efficient and by far the least expensive quote we received when looking for solicitors to represent us. Will use again in the future for sure.
Cheerful, courteous, friendly and utterly professional. I cannot praise the staff highly enough.
Would highly recommend PSR for any conveyancing needed.
PSR’s quotation for my work was competitive and I have other conveyancing work coming up soon but I won’t be shopping around and will go straight to PSR again.

Rhyl is a Welsh town in the county of Denbighshire. It has a population of more than 25,000 people and has always been famous as a seaside resort, sporting arcades, funfairs, and a water park. It occupies an enviable position on the tip of North Wales looking out across the Irish Sea with the Snowdonia mountain range as a magnificent backdrop.
The local economy is largely dominated by the leisure industry, including businesses associated with the holiday parks, attractions and leisure pursuits such as trekking and hiking in Snowdonia and water sports out in the Irish Sea. The area is currently benefiting from a huge multi-million pound investment, which will completely transform the town centre with a new seafront and state-of-the-art shopping and retail areas.
Given the seaside location of Rhyl, holiday and second homes are regularly purchased and sold here along with family homes and commercial properties. Additionally, with the £30 million seafront investment currently underway, a combination of both redeveloped and new build properties are being placed on the market.
Anwyl Homes and Penrhyn Homes are just two of the big names working on new housing developments in the town, bringing to market a selection of two, three and four bedroom properties to meet the different needs of local people. Many of the new homes here can be purchased through help to buy or shared ownership schemes, to help more first time buyers than ever to get a foot on the property ladder.
(*figures correct March 2023)
The average price of a property in Rhyl is currently around £168,640, which is a rise of 7% from the previous year, and demonstrates in real terms that Rhyl is very much an up and coming area. Demand for property in Rhyl is consistently on the increase among first-time buyers and families in particular.
Studio and 1 bedroom flats start at around £50,000 in Rhyl with the average price for a flat or apartment here currently standing at around £80,934. Some two bedroom flats can also be purchased for below £100,000.
There is a wide variety of two and three bedroom terraced properties on the market for around £100,000 although the average cost of a terraced house in the town is £136,832.
For buyers who like to be in the heart of the action, a two-bed apartment making the most of stunning sea views will cost upwards of £100,000 while family sized, three bedroom semi-detached homes are brought to market priced between £110,000 and £200,000 depending on factors including space and proximity to local amenities etc.
At the top end of the market, plenty of detached properties are available offering more space for budgets between £200,000 and £300,000 while £450,000 will buy you a larger plot of land along with your new home.
For buyers with commercial interests, there are a number of retail properties in Rhyl that come with an excellent town centre location, attracting high footfall. Office space is also an attractive option for investors here along with land for redeveloping. For those with an interest in the hospitality industry, profitable hotels are often for sale as going concerns and with vast regeneration underway and huge investment being poured into the area, Rhyl is looking set to be an investor’s paradise.
Based in the heart of Rhyl, and with further offices in Colwyn Bay, Ellesmere Port, Shotton and Wrexham, PSR Solicitors have an unrivalled knowledge of the local area.
