Wilmslow is renowned as one of the most exclusive and prestigious locations, not only in Cheshire, but the country as a whole. It is usually the first place that successful businesspeople moving North from London look for property, and it is home to many high-profile figures based in the North-West.
However, it is not all about the glamour of the celebrities and footballers who choose Wilmslow as their base.
Wilmslow certainly is stylish, sophisticated and urbane, but it retains the depth and character of an established Cheshire town, the buzzing cultural energy of the North-West as a whole, and the access to some of the most beautiful countryside in England.
Read more about some of the key things which make Wilmslow such an attractive location below.

You are also only 10 minutes away from both the M56 and the A34, giving you access across the North-West and beyond.
A few years ago, Wilmslow developed a reputation as one of the party hotspots of the North-West. Whatever your appetite, you will find that you are catered for in Wilmslow, with top class fish restaurants, French-style brasseries and the famous Cibo Italian restaurant competing for your attention. There are also excellent Indian and Thai restaurants, as well as a variety of more casual dining options.
Shopping in Wilmslow can be an expensive business, with both Hoopers and a range of exclusive clothes boutiques offering designer clothing, high-end antique and furniture shops, and an Austin Martin showroom in the centre of town. In addition to this, you will also find everything else you would expect in a major town centre, including Waitrose and Laura Ashley.
The Wilmslow Artisan Market is also developing a reputation as one of the best places to find unique arts and craft, as well as an outstanding collection of pies, cakes and other lovingly created exclusive food.
