The circumstances of the accident were that our client attended the Asda store and was walking towards the checkout when she slipped and fell due to flowers which were on the floor. As a result of the fall, our client sustained an injury to her arm, knee and head.

Upon accepting the case we alleged negligence on the part of Asda. Various allegations were made but most importantly that the defendant had failed to ensure the safety of our client whilst she was a visitor in their store in breach of section 2 of the Occupier’s Liability Act.
