PSR Solicitors successfully represented a child injured in a Road Traffic Accident in Liverpool in 2017, securing £2,000 in compensation.
Our client was a middle seat passenger in a vehicle travelling in Liverpool which was involved in a car accident caused by a third-party. We submitted a claim to the Defendants and an admission of liability was received from the defendants in September 2017.
We proceeded to instruct the appropriate medical experts and obtained the required medical evidence for our client. We thereafter instructed a barrister to provide an opinion in relation to this matter.
We put forward an offer to settle this matter in December 2017 which was subsequently rejected by the defendants. They then put forward a counter offer which we advised the client to reject. Subsequent negotiations were unsuccessful so we indicated that we wished to proceed to a contested hearing. However, in March 2018 the defendants agreed the offer originally put forward in the sum of £2,000.
Our client obtained a good level of compensation for his pain, suffering and loss of amenity.
