Our client was driving her motor vehicle on the 21st May 2014 along Abergele Road when a third party vehicle exited a side road into collision with the passenger side of our her vehicle. Following the accident in Bodelwyddan our client attended the Glan Clwyd Hospital for treatment for her whiplash injury.
We received instructions in relation to this matter in February 2015 and liability was swiftly admitted by the defendant’s insurers. Following the obtaining of medical evidence, we attempted to negotiate quantum with the defendant’s insurers, however we were unable to agree quantum. The defendant’s insurers put forward an offer of £3,500 for our client’s whiplash compensation. We reviewed this matter and deemed this offer to be extremely low and as such we issued court proceedings and listed the matter for a disposal hearing.
We attended Llandudno County Court on the 21st December 2015 and the judge on this date awarded £7,315 for the claimant’s compensation for the car accident in Bodelwyddan.
As a result of our client employing our specialist services, we proceeded with the matter to a final hearing in order to obtain the maximum settlement figure possible. As a result, our client obtained twice as much compensation as the original offer for her pain, suffering and loss of amenity.
