Road Traffic Accident Portal
The launch of the new Road Traffic Accident system did not proceed smoothly as is often the case with new technology.It would appear however that after the initial problems were resolved a steady flow of cases were submitted to insurers via the new online Portal. Cases do appear to be progressing smoothly and a lot quicker than under the previous system. This is of obvious benefit to clients, which was the aim of the new process.
However as costs will be reduced under this scheme at the request of the insurance companies, it will be interesting to see whether everyone's car insurance will now likewise be reduced. Otherwise all that will happen is that the insurers will make even bigger profits.
